Hothouse Theatre’s youth project, also known as Film Club (although we are just as likely to do audio projects these days), has been running for about 15 years.
Over the years we have done a lot of messing around making short films, going on fun trips, visiting other community projects, running film festivals, and making podcasts. It is now expanding to include young people in Bakersfield, St Anns and Sneinton.
The young people are between the ages of 10 – 18 and are in control of the projects they undertake, and are involved in all aspects of the productions and reports.
All sessions will be led by our Workshop Leader who is a fully trained teacher, experienced community worker and youth worker, and a support worker.
