Emily Goes Wingwalking
to raise funds for Mountbatten Hospice
This August, on the Isle of Wight, Emily did a wing walk to help raise funding for Mountbatten Hospice. This of course raises several questions…
What is wingwalking? - wing walking is the act of walking or performing stunts (which can include waving a lot) on an airplane's wing during flight.
What is Mountbatten Hospice? - Mountbatten Hospice provides end-of-life care and support for patients and families on the Isle of Wight.
Why would anyone want to do such a thing? - Well, we are all different, and some people like doing mad things.

"Huge thank you to everyone who has donated towards this. I’ve raised just under £1000 for Mountbatten Isle of Wight in memory of Dad.
"Harri and Charlie the fundraising team at Mountbatten have been fantastic and it was a pleasure to meet them in the flesh on the day along with Nigel Hartley the CEO.
Thank you to all of you for the amazing work you do to support the dying and their families when they need it the most.
"Thanks also has to go to Brian, Helen, Martyn and the Ethel Dares Wingwalking team. I felt safe and prepared the whole way through. Best of luck with your venture, I’ll definitely be flying with you again."
