logo Oh My Nottz Community is full of sketches, short stories, poems, reports and other stuff. It is a platform where projects from Nottinghamshire using audio in their work can post short items that they think the wider community will be interested in listening to.

The podcast tries to be 30- 60 minutes long, though it has tended to go on rather a bit of late... but we are trying to keep it down to a listen-to-able length.

Each episode will be mostly light-hearted and we will accept almost anything from jokes to short stories, from poems to reports about what is happening in your project.

So if you've got any audio stuff that you think would go down well on a radio-style show, then send it in. We will accept 'whacky'. We will accept thoughtful. We will accept almost anything. However, the podcast is for all ages, so no politics and no swearing, unless it is censored with a bleep! (The swearing that is ... not the politics... though come to think of it...)

Hothouse Theatre will be editing the programme and our decision will be final. Pieces need to be no more than 10 minutes, but 5 minute items or less are more likely to be selected. Deadline for the Autumn Edition is 31st Oct 2025.

If you want to submit an audio piece, then follow this link.
We will need a WAV file of the piece, a photo to go with it, a short description, and a few words about you. Oh, and you will need to fill out the submissions form to confirm that you have all the permissions for the piece.

Interested in getting involved? Drop us a line podcast@hothousetheatre.com Also, if your project doesn't currently use audio in its work, but you are interested in giving it a go, Hothouse Theatre might be able to help. Get in touch if you wish to have a chat.
