Hothouse Theatre’s
Activities Report 2021/22

The last 12 months have been yet another difficult and unusual year for Hothouse Theatre. Covid was still very much an issue, forcing us to do much of our work on the internet, via Zoom and the like, funding was very difficult to obtain and events were being cancelled left right and centre.

Despite all this, we were able to have a fun year and keep all aspects of the Hothouse project going throughout the year.

The Youth project carried on with Zoom sessions that included virtual trips, radio drama and very a bit of news reporting.

Theatre projects went audio with Cinderella and Introducing Mr Charles Dickens.

And Oh My Nottz went from strength to strength, getting over 120,000 hits and introducing a monthly What’s On podcast.

Have a look at our Activities Presentation below.

There will be a series of rehearsals via Zoom, followed by a recording session. Then there will be a load of editing, before the finished piece is released on our online magazine, Oh My Nottz.
